*Of course, there were many things discussed, but here are the a few that worth being documented*

Situation 1

PM: ...........so, I'd like to invite our young colleagues here to table out any problems you might be facing while working in School of Mad Scientists

MS: I would like to know the answer why the waiting period is so long (more than 7 months) to get an internal fund application approved?

PM: ... well basically, I have no direct answer to your question, as I am not part of the board members who are in charge in reviewing new applications. As I was the board member last year, I believe they are now waiting for the fund to be handed to them, later decisions can be made, in term of which mad scientists can be the new 'orang kaya baru'. Also, the budget to our 'sekolah' has been cut nearly up to ??%.

MS: What ??%. That's a lot of money. That's unfair. How can we go wilder as mad scientists if budget has been reduced up to that much. You should do something about it.

CDr: Well, if you happen to be able to catch up with other colleagues from overseas, you'd realize that in developed countries, mad scientists are not funded by the Uni. Mad scientists are required to fight real battles externally in order to compete for fund to run their Frankenstein experiments. Spoon feeding are discouraged. "Dalam hati: tulah negara ko tak maju2, banyak songeh pak sheikh ni kutuk negara berdaulat ku"

 

Situation 2

CDr: I found it hard to get senior Frankenstein lab assistants to be participative in my Frankenstein experiment sessions with students.

Mr Poyo: Well, the way to get they participate in your work is by trying to get to know them better. Get to know their families, ask them about their kids.

CDr: I am not interested in domestic issues they might be having. We are all here to work. Along the way we might make friends, but I don't intend to make everyone I work with as friends.
